How to Apply for Assistance

The Fund to Prevent Homelessness has a comprehensive screening process to make sure our clients are truly in need of assistance.  If you or someone you know falls into the requirements below, you may be able to receive assistance from our organization.

Communities Served – Beverly, Essex, Gloucester, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Rockport and Wenham

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must be a family, as defined as a minimum of one child living with an adult.
2. Working and able to meet future payments once overdue rent or mortgage is paid.
3. Facing eviction or foreclosure.
4. Not qualified for welfare assistance.
5. Meeting with an intake-coordinator to confirm other eligibility requirements and provide financial consulting.
